What does it say on the geocoin? "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you cache with them."

Here's something a little different: let's get together and celebrate National Peanut Day! Yes, Labor Day will have come and gone, and the kids will be back in school, but that's stating the obvious. This event is designed to champion the offbeat, the unusual, something a bit more esoteric.

You're probably thinking, "What's so great about peanuts?" That's a fair question. Recent studies suggest that peanuts can reduce cardiovascular disease and lower triglyceride levels in the body. Peanuts are also high in protein, have zero cholesterol, and are believed to help curb hunger. Just make sure you don't confuse this day with National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, that's April 2.

Anyway, here's the important stuff in a (what else?) nutshell.
