Old 66 TB Flophouse Traditional Cache
jakob0051: Took this one out of service, I was never happy with the hiding place and also cachers made a road to the cache so I axed it. Many thanks to all cachers who found this one and swapped a few TBs.

A TB "Flophouse" off of Old rt. 66. Cache is an ammo box and should be an easy find. A very plain, no frills TB hotel.
We thought we'd try and draw some more attention to this wonderful area by placing a few more caches around here.
This cache is on a piece of Route 66 also known here as Crookton Rd.. From the west, take Crookton Rd from the main street in the town of Seligman (a neat place), from the east take the (Crookton Rd) exit 139 from I-40.
You don't need to follow the take one leave one rule for the flophouse, but try to leave something! Also, there is a benchmark where you park if you are interested.
NOTE: For all you Interstate travelers, this is on a short section of Rt 66 (about 17 miles), it is a good, fast road and not much of a detour from I-40. So don't bypass this cache because you may think it is out of the way. Just a thought.
Note#2: While doing some minor maintenance I found a timber rattler very near the cache. I was able to get him to join the witness protection program but please be careful...
