Geocache Description:


We came across this bridge whilst exploring the area near Doheng’s Lovely Lake View cache. Actually, you can follow the sign posted track from one cache to the other, neither of which take very long thereby making it a quick yet worthwhile break in your journey.

As for the track, in summer it is fine for any vehicle, in winter it becomes a wee bit soggy, after rain it can be downright mucky. We managed to hit the track after rain and discovered just how sticky the mud can be, so sticky in fact that you can stand 2” taller just by taking a few steps.

After crossing the bridge, we discovered that the track quickly disappeared under water, though it was still nicely marked. We decided it really was just leading us on and so found a suitable spot to hide a cache.

The cache has been placed high and dry, and is concealed by nature’s jacket, so please make sure it is replaced as such to hide it from the eyes of any muggles who may stray from the path.
