This is a very easy drive-by cache, in an obvious hiding spot, in a
very quiet lane, in a quaint little town. There is a FTF pin for
the first lucky finder and a couple of other pins if anyone would
like them. BYO Pen!
Glen, my miniature brat boy, fell in love with Glenrowan and the
tales of Ned Kelly the moment he first visited the area on his 5th
birthday. He has a t-shirt that is so worn out you wouldn’t even
use it as a rag, but I can’t throw it away, no way! His collection
is growing steadily, and now he wants his room decorated in Ned
Kelly memorabilia.
Anyway, on this visit he spotted something else that made the area
feel special – not only does Glen appear in Glenrowan, but there is
also a Daniel Lane in the town, so now there is an association with
both his Christian names, a common Irish heritage, and dare I say
they are both as mad as cut snakes.
So I had no choice, my Glen Daniel just had to lay a cache in
Glenrowan – he found a spot, chatted with a few locals and
subsequently organized for someone to maintain it for him.
** Special thanks to the Cobb & Co shop and museum for
offering to maintain the cache for us – make sure you visit them,
it’s definitely worthwhile.
