Geocache Description:

This cache offers a scenic but fairly quick cache and dash for travellers on the north-south A487

For most travellers, Bow Street is passed over on the way to / from Aberystwyth. This cache offers a different viewpoint of the village and surrounding countryside. Shortly before the cache location, there is a "crossroads" of tracks. To the right, a panorama of Bow Street. To your left, a place where I used to learn about things called birds and bees with the girl who is now my wife! But follow the footpath ahead to the final cache. Travellers from the A487 - take a sharp turn to the west near the Post Office in Bow Street. You will need extreme care on this tight junction (and the subsequent hump backed bridge). Get ready to drop to 1st gear if need be. Once over the bridge, turn right onto a housing estate ("Bryncastell"). Once parked, walk up to the top of the road. You will see a house called "Mostar", and you will be faced by two gates. Take the RIGHT gate, up the permissive footpath. After a while, you will come to another gate. Go through it, and proceed direct to the cache. THERE IS NO NEED TO STRAY ON ADJACENT FARMLAND. STICK TO THE FOOTPATH. CLOSE ALL GATES. RESPECT ANY LIVESTOCK THAT MAY STRAY ON TO THE FOOTPATH. "Geocelc" (Pronounced phonetically in English: Geokelk) was used as a Welsh term for geocache in an article in the Welsh language current affairs magazine, Golwg, in October 2007.
