Geocache Description:

Cache is an ammo box located in difficult terrain. We had our 5 year old niece along and she needed to be watched carefully and an occasional lift and piggyback.

Chicks on Rocks is the nickname given to the rocky outcropping on Flathead Lake near Bigfork. Often on a warm sunny day, boaters can't count the bikinis on two hands as they come in and out of Bigfork marina. The rocky outcropping is a small part of Wayfarers State Park where there is exceptional camping, clean bathrooms, laundry facilities, camp hosts, good parking and lots of little trails for exploring. Although the cache is in a very rocky area, much of the park is a gentle slope into the lake with picnic tables, a dock and a nice beach.
