GeoCaching 101___ ___
It's about time for another GeoCaching Class at Wickiup!

  • Did you recently receive a GPS and want to try GeoCaching?
  • Have you heard of GeoCaching and want to learn more about it?
  • Do you enjoy getting outside and seeing new and spectacular things?
  • Do you want a hobby that your entire family can enjoy together?
  If you answered Yes, then GeoCaching may be for YOU!

This Event will consist of one hour classroom tutorial and one hour of getting outside and finding some GeoCache's!
The cost for the class is $2.50/adult, $1.00/child (16 and under) or $5.00/family.

  Where: Wickiup Hill Outdoor Leaning Center (10260 Morris Hills Rd, Toddville, IA 52341)
  When: Saturday, 4 October 2008
  Time: 10:00am until about Noon

    How do I reserve a seat for this?:
    You can make your reservation(s) here by submitting a "log your visit" & "will attend"
    Or call the Wickiup Hill Outdoor Learning Center at: 319 892-6485.
    Please include the TOTAL number of people that plan on attending.

    Do I need a GPS to attend?
    No, GPS's will be provided. If you have your own GPS please bring it & the data cable.

    Seasoned GeoCacher's are enouraged to attend this Event!
    You will receive credit for attending this event (Log will be in place) & maybe you can help with the soon to be GeoCacher's
    Also, there WILL be a permanent Cache placed. This Cache may be used to log the Temp. Cache's if you want.
    If you have an FRS Radio please bring it!
    Tune into Channel 12-0 just in case you need help or want to talk.

Thanks to repmul, there will be about 15 temporary Cache's & one permanent Cache for this Event!

The Temp Cache's will be available until Saturday, 11 October 2008, for those of you that want to find them.
Please use the Tombstone Cache (GC1GXAW) to log these Cache's.
