Waterville: WHEre's thAT? Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

pazooter: Time to put this one to bed. Cathy and I were absolutely delighted to have hosted this event, the first ever geoevent in Waterville. Although there were several schedule conflicts, attendance was still a happy crowd of around 40 geocachers of all ages. The Blue Rooster bakery and Waterville's Pioneer Park worked out every bit as good as we'd hoped.

We look forward to hosting it again next year.

Geocache Description:

The first annual Waterville Geocaching event.

Join us for a picnic/potluck event in the park. The coordinates will bring you to Pioneer Park and our Bakery.

The event starts at noon, at which time we will close our bakery to the public. However, feel free to come earlier as we open up the bakery around 6:30 am. We are right in Pioneer Park so will have an indoor/outdoor arrangement going on, weather being the determining factor.

Team pazooter will place new caches for this event in and around Waterville; please feel free to contribute new ones of your own.

We will provide bakery goods, coffee, napkins, plates and plasticware. Guests are asked to bring a potluck dish to share with others.

There will be time to visit and meet old and new friends, trade TBs and geocoins, share stories and photos. We have Wi-Fi available in the bakery for logging. For those who are wondering, dogs are allowed in the park as long as the owner brings and uses a leash and a pooper scooper.

Special event tokens (non-trackable geocoins) will also be gifted by a local business. Let's all have a good time and make this something to look forward to every year.
