PANORAMA DI LAGO

Questo e un semplice Drive-In-Cache, che vi porta al bellisimo lago di Bolsena nella regione Lazio. A questo punto vedete una piccola terazza - quanto il tempo e bellissimo un stupendo panorama sul lago con le sue piccole isole Bisentina e Martana.
Il lago misura 115 km² riempe il cratere di un Vulcano spento. Alla riva nord-est del lago trovate Bolsena con una bella spiaggia e un centro storico caratteristico. Interessante e anche il Castello Monaldeschi (13. secolo), nel quale si trovano oggetti del medio evo e della Renaissance e anche sscavi reperti archeoligici degli antichi etrusci. Nella chiesa Santa Christina (13. secolo) si vede il famoso "altare del miracolo di Bolsena". Sie dice che nel 1263 un ostia santa ha transeidatro gioccie di sangue. A seguito di questo miracolo fu costrutto il duomo di Orvieto.

Il Cache sta al lato di strada di fronte al terrazzo, a fianco al muro di roccia dietro un picciolo tronto d'albero, caduto a terra. Per piacere nascondetelo bene, per farlo rimanere li a lungo. Attenzione ai Muggles, perche in questo punto la gente scattano molte foto ricordo del lago di Bolsena.

This is a simple and easy drive-in-cache, which leads you to the beautiful Lake of Bolsena in Lazio. At a viewpoint near the cachelocation, you have a great view over the entire lake including the two islands Bisentina and Martana.
The surface measure 115 squarekilometers with an almost circular geometry fills the crater of an inactive vulcany. At the north-east boarder the city Bolsena is located with nice beaches and an amazing old city. Interesting is the Castle of Monaldeschi (13.Century), where an exhibition of etruscian founds and medival- and renaissance arts. The famous "Altar of miracle of Bolsena" is located in the church Santa Christina (13. century). The miracle of Bolsena was the reason to build the cathedrale of Orvieto.

From the viewpoint, the cache is located on the opposite side of the road. Please hide the cache carefully to ensure a safe and long stay. Be aware of muggles, because many people take fotographes of the lake at this place.

Dies ist einfacher Drive-In-Cache, der euch zu dem wunderschönen Lago di Bolsena in Lazio führen soll. An dieser Stelle - einer kleinen Aussichtsplattform - habt ihr bei gutem Wetter einen grandiosen Ausblick über den See mit seinen beiden kleinen Inseln Bisentina und Martana.
Der 115 Quadratkilometer große, fast kreisrunde See füllt den Krater eines erloschenen Vulkans. Am nordöstlichen Ufer liegt Bolsena mit einem schönen Strand und einer stimmungsvollen Altstadt. Interessant ist die Burg Monaldeschi (13. Jahrhundert), in der etruskische Funde sowie Kunstwerke aus dem Mittelalter und der Renaissance ausgestellt sind. In der Kirche Santa Christina (13. Jahrhundert) steht der berühmte "Altar des Wunders von Bolsena". Hier sollen 1263 aus einer geweihten Hostie Blutstropfen ausgetreten sein. Dieses Wunder war Anlass für den Bau des Doms von Orvieto.
Geniesst den Ausblick über den See und die Stadt Bolsena, vielleicht bei Sonnenuntergang?!

Der Cache liegt auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite der Aussichtsplattform; bitte tarnt ihn wieder gut, damit er lange erhalten bleibt! Auch ist Vorsicht vor Muggles geboten, da an dieser Stelle der Lago di Bolsena als beliebtes Fotomotiv dient.
