Geocache Description:

"E" Is for Education.

The Elmore County Board of Education is just around the corner. Until recently it has been located in Downtown Wetumpka. The Elmore County Public School System operates 15 schools with an enrollment of over 10,000 students. All of our schools are accredited by the Alabama State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

The new building was needed to ensure that the growth of the school system wasn’t stifled by the BOE's own growth problems. The new building features office space for all of the employees as well as a large conference room for its public meetings.

The cache you seek is in plain view.
