This Cache is located at La Wis Wis Campground right off of HWY 12 and near HWY 123. Cowlitz river runs right along this campsite. The cache is near the picnic area at the park. Look for a bridge near a plaque in a rock. A fallen log will show you the way.
This picnic area is home to an annual family picnic that my family has every summer. It is a great place to stop if traveling on HWY 12. The area has some very old cedar trees, among others. Taking a dip in the river is highly recommended on a very hot day. Sure to cool you off real fast. The blue hole is a great place to jump in. Note: There is a day use parking fee of $5 if you plan on staying for a while. If not you can park real close and pick this cache up rather easily.
The cache itself is a medium sized water tight plastic container. It contains a disposable camera. Please take a picture and place the camera back in the cache. Remember to sign the log book. There is a pen inside. You are welcome to take one of the other items as long as you leave something else.
