In Memory of Evelyn Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no response to my earlier post, I'm archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is being dedicated to Evelyn Naomi Loeble Huth (March 31, 1925 - December 30, 2007). And follows the Nazareth Christmas Walking Tour – which she founded and organized in 1982. She was an amazing woman and did a tremendous amount of work for the Nazareth Moravian Church and the town of Nazareth, PA. NOTE: The posted coordinates will take you to the parking area for the FINAL Cache. ENJOY!

NORTH: ___#1 ___ º ___ #2 ___ . ___ #3 ___ ___

WEST: ___ #4 ___ º ___ #5 ___ . _0_ ___ #6 ___

Go to the coordinates listed below to obtain the clues needed to fill-in the above numbers. The above coordinates, when completed, will lead you to the FINAL cache location.

#1 – 40° 44.561 N / 075° 18.388 W Your first stop on the Christmas Walking Tour will be the Nazareth Library. Take the Year that you find on the Nazareth Library (Trumbower House) Historical Marker and subtract it from 1967 to get your part of the coordinate for #1 (2 digits).

#2 – 40° 44.547 N / 075° 18.405 W Your second stop on the Christmas Walking Tour will be the Whitfield House. Take the Year that you see on the stone marker and subtract it from 1784 to get your part of the coordinate for #2 (2 digits).

#3 – 40° 44.546 N / 075° 18.737 W Your third stop on the Christmas Walking Tour will be the Nazareth Moravian Church. Take the Year that you find carved on the piece of marble on the front wall of the church and subtract it from 2485 to get your part of the coordinate for #3 (3 digits).

#4 – 40° 44.589 N / 075° 18.839 W Your fourth stop on the Christmas Walking Tour will be the Nazareth Moravian Craft Shop. Take the Year that Will Beitel was born and subtract it from 1960 to get your part of the coordinate for #4 (2 digits).

#5 – 40° 44.539 N / 075° 18.870 W Your fifth stop on the Christmas Walking Tour will be the Nazareth Boro Hall Building. Take the Year that the WWII Plaque was erected and subtract it from 1984 to get your part of the coordinate for #5 (2 digits).

#6 – 40° 44.551 N / 075° 19.150 W Your sixth and final stop on the Christmas Walking Tour will be the Holy Family Church. Take the Year that this section of the church was constructed (etched into the wall) and subtract it from 2037 to get your part of the coordinate for #6 (2 digits).

You now have all the missing pieces of the coordinate to find your way to the final cache and the vicinity of the final resting place of Evelyn Huth and her husband Robert (and me & my family when that time comes). Good luck and hope you enjoyed your tour of Nazareth.

** Congratulations to Greyvin for the FTF.
