Another of Holly's walks along the Weardale Way, following the edge of the river, great for kids and dogs.
The listed co-ordinates are for the free car park at the start.
From the car park to the cache and back is approximately 1.5 miles and the route is nice and flat. The start of the trail is a gravel surface, the rest may get muddy in poor weather.
The cache:
At the car park count the number of upright standing stones lining the edge near the road to the left of the entrance as you drive in, include the small one in the middle = A
On the edge of the car park is a small picnic area, count the number of green TABLES = B
Note: These are both even numbers.
Now head along the Weardale Way to Waypoint 1 at:
N 54 42.33(A-9)
W 001 41.08(B+3)
