The cache is a decon container about 30 ft. off the Lodgepole Loop Trail, just under a mile walk from parking. After the initial uphill from the parking lot, this trail basically meanders along the contour of the hillside to a point just beyond the cache where it turns uphill. This stretch is one of the easiest trails in the park. The trail also passes through an Aspen grove which is beautiful in the fall.
From the cache, you can return the way you came, or continue up the trail for a longer loop hike.
Please do not pick any berries, leave them for the wildlife.
