Welcome to Stemler Cave Woods Nature preserve. It's over 1/2 mile walk to this cache. You can get a trail map near the parking area from an information board. The board contains some info on the history of the area and the Homer F. Stemler walking trail. Trail length is 1.4 miles on the short loop and 2 miles on the longer loop. Daytime only.
You are looking for a small Decon container with a few items a small pencil and a logbook. On the way to this cache you will encounter many points of interest with interpretive signs explaining features of the area. Keep on the trail for this cache.
You will have to hike the longer loop to find all three caches placed here. The cache is close to the trail. You will not have to bushwack more than thirty feet for this cache.
