-------------------------------------------------------------------
Villa Emilia was built in the 1920s along the shores of Donoratico.
It was precedeed by "Forte di Castagneto" in 1896, by the Serristori's hunting and bathing lodge and by Villa Margherita which was built in 1914 of which it was an extension; only though, as a part of the wall these buildings formed running along the sea shore.
The work at Villa Margherita which was preceeded by the completion of the evocative "Viale dei Cavalleggeri", was followed in subsequent years by the laying of a road and by a variety of work done to the "Catenaccio" plains: in 1916 the well, in 1919 the stableyard and in roughly the same period, a vegetable patch in the pine wood.
The new Villa was completed on April 9th 1929 and given the name of the woman it had been built for, count Gaddo's wife Emilia Poschi Meuron.
Today is a touristic residence

Cache is on beach side, NOT over the wall!
