Geocache Description:

A 30 minute multi cache, across fields that may be very boggy and may contain livestock (Dogs on leads please). Not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

This is the first of a series of caches to be placed in and around New Inn. The entire walk is along public right of way footpaths and crosses 5 stiles. In August bring your blackberrying box!

The church of St. Mary’s was originally built in about 1450 and the only part of the original church now remaining is the tower. The church was rebuilt in 1876. The register dates from the year 1598.

Parking is available at the co-ordinates for the first stage but please do NOT park in the church car park as the car park gates may be locked by the time you return. There is plenty of space to park outside the church gates.

The co ordinates for the first stage are N51.41.142 W002.59.955
VC1 - When was Frank Maisey warden? Answer abcc – abde

The final cache location is N51.41.eac W002.59.dd(2c)

Cache is a 2litre cliplock box and contains usual swaps but very child friendly.

To make thecache more disable friendly there is alternative parking at N51.41.edb W002.59. (d-a)(d+a)(d-a)
This allows the cache to be accessed without the need to climb stiles.
Thanks to Tramperjeff for the idea
