This challenge is to find one cache for each letter of the alphabet
(i.e. A = A Walk in Two Parks (GCNT9F), B = Brokensword #1
(GC1DP59), C = CCMM Chatfield (GC1BHXR).
You don’t have to do them in any particular order. You don’t
even have to do them all in Ohio. The only requirement is you do
one cache for each letter of the alphabet.
To make this a true challenge, caches must start with the actual
letter it is representing. As in the example: "A Walk in Two Parks"
would only count for the letter "A". Therefore, "The X Marks the
Spot" would only count for the letter "T" not "X". See?
That’s not going to be difficult. Now is it? You might not even
have to use very much gas if you plan it right. All it will take is
a bit of searching and record keeping.
Below are the guidelines.
1. Find a cache for each letter of the alphabet. (see examples
given above)
2. All finds do not have to be in Ohio.
3. All cache types are accepted.
4. No finds before the published date of this cache (08/08/08)
will count.
5. "Additional Logging Requirement" - Once you have completed
all the requirements, you must send your list of finds to me. Your
list can be in any form - Excel, Word, Notepad, Appleworks,
email... OR create a public bookmark called "Alphabet Soup
Ohio":
- In the list or bookmark comments for each cache, include the
date you found the cache (must be on or after August 8, 2008).
- Be sure to include this cache in your bookmark so it will show
up here. Since you will not have completed this cache it will not
count as your "A" find, so you will need another "A" cache to
fulfill the requirements.
- Bookmarks are automatically alphabetized so it is easy to see
if you have all the letters. Please alphabetize any other list for
speedy approval.
6. Once you complete your list, post a note to this cache page
for final approval. I will review your list and post the final
approval to this page.
While you can find the cache without further information or
approval, should you choose to log it as found without completing
the challenge correctly your log will be deleted and that fact
stated as a note here. We want to preserve the honor of "finds" for
those who earned it.
The actual container is a small container with a log sheet and
pencil. There is only room for small trinkets. Place with
permission of the property owner.
Happy Caching!!!
