Small stream valleys are sensitive environmental areas. This cache was approved only with stipulation that no cacher whould have to go into or very near the stream bed or the sensitive areas. The cache is on high bank that overlooks a nice waterfall. Please do not go into the stream bed and use minimum bushwhacking. You can get nice view of waterfall on the high bank only 10 feet away.
Park at foot of Wedgewood Road in official parking area. (A state park fee or annual pass is required)(Creek Road is now closed) Cross over the rusted metal footbridge to east side of White Clay Creek and follow the sevice road (power lines) until your GPS points hard left and you are about 400 feet away. I was getting coordinates jumping by 30-50 feet in the heavily wooded valley, so if you have problems, go to the sound of the waterfall and then use the hint.
This is very nice small valley. I thought I knew all of White Clay Creek State park but it took WhiteClayLover to show me this area.
