Geocache Description:

On a steep hillside with a loosely defined trail. Off the Miwok nature trail hike.

Cache is a clear rubbermaid container with a blue lid, approximately 5"x5" square and fairly flat. You can walk to it from the miwok nature trail, (downhill side) or come from the uphill side. Wear boots if you want, although I did it in tennis shoes with my 11 yr old son, 12 yr old daughter and wife. Check the pic of the cache to see what it looks like. Take note of the clear area behind it, looks like a major trail or road.
When I placed it we started at the start of the miwok trail and took the trails that led to the top of the hill. Stand downhill and look up. You will not see it if you are on the uphill side looking down. Is located downhill from a large, open, flat area. If it's difficult hiking, you're doing it the hard way. (Tennis shoes only required.) We put some neat homemade bracelets as swag...you won't be disappointed.
