An easy cache along a side road.
I thought Rt. 519 could use another cache seeing as how scenic the road can be. This is a quick grab-n-go, but take the time to wander past the sign and check out the view.
This is the area where the Silver Spade did all of its final earth moving years ago. My grandfather had helped assemble the GEM when it began digging in eastern Ohio back in the 1960's. I remember my father taking us out to watch the shovel operate. It sure was a marvel!
