Water Safety Cache on Foscue Creek Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

isht kinta: Since the cache owner has not responded to my reviewer log requesting the geocache be maintained, the geocache has been archived.

Geocaching Help Center Article 7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache

Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been relocated on Foscue Creek. The walk is flat and with a slight slope near the waters edge including the area where the cache is placed.

Welcome to our Water Safety Cache. This is our first cache placement for the US Army Corps of Engineers at Black Warrior & Tombigbee Lakes project. This cache is designed to create a unique recreational experience for our visitors and to promote water safety on project waters. This cache is a plastic container with screw lid. The cache is in a hollowed out tree near the waters edge. Included in the cache are water safety footballs, whistle compasses, cozies, key chains, floating key chains, Buddy Beaver Tattoos, Buoy recognition stickers, and water safety bracelets. Please take only one item per person in your geocaching party and please do not leave any new items in the cache. The BW&T team will monitor the cache and refill it when the contents get low.
