In 2009, the LSU softball team will begin play in this new facility. The new "Tiger Park" is to be one of the premier venues for college softball in the nation. This new complex, whose over 1200 seats will all angle toward the playing field, will feature a first class clubhouse including an outdoor deck overlooking the playing field. It will also feature both meeting and training rooms and an indoor batting cage. The open concourse will have both concessions and video monitors. This fan friendly park should keep the Tigers ranked in the nation’s top ten in attendance. During the softball season, which is from February to May, come spend a couple of hours, take in a game and watch these great athletes in action. You will be amazed at their level of play. At this time of the year you will find Pat and I here, or wherever the team may be playing for the weekend. If it's an away game we have been known to “cache” our way there and back.
