Geocache Description:

Our heroine is renowned for her ability to solve mysteries and now she has taken on a new hobby – geocaching. Cache is NOT at posted coords.

Naturally, being a super sleuth, she is attracted to puzzle caches and has decided to test her geo-sense by hiding a cache of her own.

The Secret in the Old Attic provided some inspiration, as well as adding a Touch of the Supernatural, which always gives her a Shiver up the Spine. She took the Clue in the Jewel Box quite seriously so that all her bases were covered. The cache needed to contain souvenirs of her vast travels, so she included a Raja from India and the Phantom of Venice. Just in case, before she set out in her blue convertible, Bess and George handed her Nancy’s Mysterious Letter to reread and reminded her to include the Geocaching stash note in the container.

On her way to the hiding spot, she paused to admire and remember The Case of the Monkey Pod Chairs, The Clue in the Summer Cottage, The Whispering Bamboo and The Haunted Bridge. Being so far from her home in River Heights was not unusual, but she felt a pang of homesickness as she searched for The Clue in the Diary. Our heroine made a mental note to ask a local cacher to maintain her cache- maybe konacoffee would do it! She kept a diary, where she shared her most secret thoughts, as well as hints to caches, clues to mysteries and Steps to a Babbling Brook. A sudden noise made her look up to the heavens. Was that The Mysterious Jetliner or perhaps The Sky Phantom she had heard about in class? She sure wished that Ned Nickerson, her close friend, dare we say boyfriend, of many years was with her, but he was at university earning another letter in football. She glanced back at the famous tree and wondered if it contained The Clue of the Twisted Branches? Her eyes wandered to the quaint structure nearby and her heart ached for Hannah Gruen, her motherly housekeeper. It reminded her of many things. The Case of the Horseshoe Ranch, The Mystery at Lilac Inn, Spirits of the Ivory Pond, and The Mystery at Magnolia Mansion all brought back memories to our heroine, but she quickly refocused and The Message of the Forest became clear. The cache site was at hand.

Congratulations to Off-Roader on FTF!! Super-sleuth!
