Heart Mountain Trail Traditional Cache

The Heart Mountain Trail Cache was placed to encourage cachers to check out the Heart Mountain Cache and other caches on the Heart Mountain Horseshoe and to provide those who only want a short scramble to try a more accessible location. Trail conditions to the cache would be an easy scramble. Good hiking boots and a treking pole would be an asset.

The Heart Mountain Trail Cache is located on Heart Mountain approximately 75 kilometres west of Calgary.

Parking is available near the Heart Creek Trail parking area by the Lac des Arcs overpass or just off the highway eastbound on the east side of Heart Creek.

This cache replaces a now archived cache that went missing over two years ago. Please be sure to rehide the cache well so it doesn't get muggled. The hunt for this cache will be easy, but be sure to check out the spoiler just in case.
