Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Gardner Falls. There is more then one cache on the trail,The trail is a clear path with one set of steps. It is dirt and grass.nice water views there is a picnic area at the begining of the road.no restrooms though.you can ride your bikes or walk on this trail.And the trail goes around the hole area.The area is open two the public.

Gardner Falls Diversion Canal/Forebay Dam is on the Gardner Fall Canal River in Franklin County, Massachusetts and is used for hydroelectric power purposes. Construction was completed in 1904. It is owned by Western Mass Electric Co.

Gardner Falls Diversion Canal/forebay is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its length is 232 feet. Its capacity is 32 acre feet. Normal storage is 25 acre feet. It drains an area of 7000 square miles
