This cache is placed in an area of the Susquehanna River known as the Conejohela Flats, an internationaly renowned bird habitat. It has been designated by Pennsylvania Audubon to be a state Important Bird Area (IBA). Please respect the area and do not approach shorebirds too closely on the Flats.
The name of the cache comes from the amazing number of egrets that were on the Flats the day the cache was placed.
