Take a left out of the Mountain Village at Big Sky or continue past
the Mountain Village, if coming from down below, on Lone Mountain
Trail.
Right before the entrance to Moonlight Basin take the Beehive
Basin Road on the right. Follow this road as it winds around the
mountain until you hit the "Beehive Basin Trailhead" parking
area.
The trailhead is at an elevation of 7965ft. The lake is at 9315
ft. The cache is about a 1/3 of the way up at around 8500 ft.
You'll come to the sign in a large meadow with directions to a
2nd trail called "North Fork Trail" --you are in the right area
then.
You will have to get off the trail a little here but don't worry
you shouldn't get 'Stumped'.
Be sure to log the cache found sheet and leave a trinket, or
take one to the next cache. The lucky 13 Ball is for the 1st to
find it.
