What a beautiful day to place a cache.
This park has been devoid of caches for quite some time. Since we live nearby and have a parks pass, we figured we'd help correct this little problem. Although the office staff had never heard of Caching, they got the quick version from me. They were very helpful in tracking down the park manager for me. They were very open to the idea of caches in the park. You can reach this cache by either the "Main Trail" or by taking the "Piney Woods Nature Boardwalk" The distance is about the same. You will be looking for large camo'ed tube placed amongst the company of trees. (The ammo can was stolen). Happy Hunting.
