04/04/14 - Did maintenance on cache to follow the new guidelines for Hamilton County Parks! Cache is good to go :-)
A nice little (micro) hide in Miami Whitewater Forest Park, a Hamilton County Park in Harrison, Ohio. This cache is hidden in the woods behind an old ballfield. You will have to walk about 440 feet from where you park.
Miami Whitewater Forest Park in the largest Hamilton County Park spanning 4,160 acres. It was acquired in 1949 with 709 acres and since then, over the years, has grown with picnic areas, 18-hole golf course, 85-acre lake, 7.8 mile paved Shaker Trace Trail, campground, wetlands area, soccer complex, and the first Frisbee golf course in Ohio. There is a daily entrance fee or you can purchase one for the year. I would say it was the best deal around town!
You are looking for one of my 'signature' test tubes with a screw on lid. Don't forget to bring something to write with and watch out for those wild turkeys!!! Participants must stay on designated trails until they get close to the designated area and follow all park rules.
(This caches has been approved by the Hamilton County Park naturalist with the Registration # of 080731-01.)
