cravings: The cache seems to have been stolen. I don't live in Arizona. This cache was put together in honor of my Grandfather who does live nearby but is not the owner of the cache and not in a position to replace the stolen container. Because I live several states away, I am forced to archive the cache rather than replace the container. This saddens me as it was a well visited and like cache/location.

If there were any Trackables that were in the cache at the time it disappeared, I am sorry to say they were taken with the cache as well.

Geocache Description:

This cache is contained in a medium sized ammo container and is located on a dirt road that is easily accessible by any car. You can almost drive right to it.

This cache is dedicated to, and in honor of my Papa, My hero... born on the 4th of July 1925! As a little boy growing up in the White Mountains of Arizona, he dreamed of becoming a pilot. Shortly after graduating from high school, that dream became a reality when he joined the Air Corps and went on to fly the B-25 Mitchell during WWII. My Papa is a great example of patriotism and has instilled in me this love of our great country as well as a love for the freedom of flight. I hope as you visit this cache you will take a moment to read the short history of my Papa contained inside and also take a moment to reflect, in gratitude, on all of the brave men and women who have fought in defense of our freedom.
