O vértice geodésico do
Bispo, encontra-se a nordeste da vila de São Brás de
Alportel, a 484 metros de altitude, e acolhe um dos mais bonitos
miradouros naturais deste concelho. Trata-se de um espaço de
repouso e observação da zona serrana do concelho, onde é possível
desfrutar da magnífica paisagem sobre a Serra Algarvia, conhecer a
fauna e a flora local, comungar de perto com os valores naturais e
relembrar os cuidados a ter para proteger a Floresta, Riqueza Maior
da Natureza.
Recomenda-se atenção redobrada nos últimos 200m de aproximação à
cache, pois o troço de estrada encontra-se deteriorado, com algumas
irregularidades, que porventura poderão danificar os veículos,
especialmente os que não forem todo o terreno (TT).
Alerta-se também para o facto de o trilho de acesso à cache ser um
percurso frequentemente utilizado para BTT, ao que se aconselha
alguma prudência.
The Bishop geodetic landmark, it’s situated in
the northeast of the town São Brás de Alportel, at 484 meters
of altitude, and it welcomes visitors to one of the prettiest
natural viewpoints of this district. It is a space of rest
and observation of the mountain zone of the district, where
it is possible to enjoy the magnificent scenery on the
Algarve mountain range, know the fauna and the local flora,
to take a close communion with the natural values, and to
recall the cares needed to protect the Forest, the Biggest
Wealth of the
Nature.
Attention is recommended at the last 200m of
approximation to the cache, since the road is spoilt, with
some holes and stones, which by chance, will be able to
damage the vehicles, especially those who aren’t off road
vehicles (4x4).
I also alert for the fact that the access path
to the cache is being frequently used for BTT, so some care
is advised.
