El cache que os proponemos se sitúa en la parte más alta de Laredo. Lo ideal es ir andando, dando un paseo sin dificultad de alrededor de una hora en el que poder contemplar por completo la bahía de Laredo y la peña de Santoña al fondo. Para los más atrevidos también se puede ir en bici.
Para el paseo se parte de la “puerta de Bilbao”. Desde el antiguo ayuntamiento, subiendo por la carreterita estrecha que lleva al alto de Laredo, en el semáforo nos metemos a la derecha para encontrarnos con la “puerta de Bilbao”. Allí, tomamos unas escaleras que nos llevan hasta cruzar la carretera. A partir de ahí, seguid el camino indicado hacia “Las Cárcobas”. Tomamos todos los cruces a la izquierda, de manera que a nuestra izquierda quedará siempre el mar. Atravesamos las Carcobas donde hay una bolera y una imagen de la Virgen de la Bien Aparecida. A partir de ahí, no desviarse del camino, en todo momento podremos observar increíbles vistas de la bahía de Laredo a nuestra izquierda. Llegamos al alto de Valverde y comenzamos a bajar hacia el caché. Una vez encontrado el caché, conviene seguir bajando por el caminito que nos devuelve al centro de Laredo en pocos minutos. Si fuera necesario, se puede llegar en coche hasta el alto de Valverde. Desde la entrada de la autopista en el alto de Laredo, se toma la carretera que lleva al restaurante con forma de torre y se sigue por ella. El caché contiene: - libreta y boli - juego de canicas - muñeco colgante - jabón - cinta porta móvil y llaves - minigel de baño The cache we are proposing is placed in the highest part of Laredo. The best choice is to do it by walk, it takes around one hour without difficulty. Your are going to admire great views of the bay of Laredo and Santoña. The braves can also go by bike. For the walk we start in the “Puerta de Bilbao” (door of Bilbao). Beginning in the old town hall, we go up through the narrow street that would led us to the highest part of Laredo. After the traffic-lights, we go right to find the “Puerta de Bilbao”. There, we continue going up through the steps until we find and cross the road. From there on, we just have to follow the way to “Las Carcobas”. We take every crossing to the left, to have always the sea at the left. We cross “Las Carcobas” where we find a bowling and an image of the “Bien Aparecida” Virgin. From there on, do not leave the way, leaving at the left the incredible views of the bay of Laredo. We arrive to the hill Valverde and start our descend to the cache. Once we find the cache, we can continue going down from this narrow way and we will arrive to the centre of Laredo in few minutes. If necessary, we can arrive to the hill of Valverde by car. Coming from the motorway in the high part of Laredo, we find the road to the tower shape restaurant and continue through it. The cache contains: - pen and a notebook - game of marbles - hanging toy - soap - ribbon for mobile and keys - minigel for bath
