Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are for the suggested parking and are NOT the
location of the final cache. If you navigate straight to each clue,
the circular walk from the suggested car park is approximately 2.5
miles.

Valley Park is a suburban area but with many peaceful and tranquil areas. This multi cache includes some unmade footpaths, which can get muddy after periods of rain, grassy areas and also tarmac paths, so it is only really suitable for walkers and, perhaps, off-road type buggies. There are also a couple of stairs and a few easy to cross stiles. The area is reasonably flat, and tree-cover in the summer (on certain sections of this multi-cache) means that less-sensitive GPS units may struggle to get an accurate fix - hence the increased difficulty rating. You are looking for a small ‘lock & lock’ container, with the usual swaps. This is big enough for geocoins and small TBs only.

Suggested free parking is at: N50°59.378 W001°23.915, where there is room for lots of cars. You could combine this with our ‘Monks Micro Mayhem #1 & #2’ caches, and also the ‘Can’t C the Wood 4 the Trees Revisited', 'On the other side of the track' and ‘Down in the valley’ caches which are all close by.

From the car park, enter Knight Wood and make your way to your first clue at N50°59.118 W001°23.521. The answer you need here, A, is the acres of the smallest copse.

Your next clue can be seen from N50°59.11A W001°23.24A. Stick to the path and look for a blue diamond. The answers you need here are B (the large number) and C (the small number). Please note – you must stick to the path. You cannot get that close to the blue diamond, but it is clearly visible from the path.

The next clue is at N50°59.1(B-C) W001°23.4(B/3). The answer you need here, D, reads from top to bottom.

Make your way to N50°58.9(D+30) W001°23.55(C-A). The answer you are looking for here, E, is the number of yards. Make sure you select the right one (check your coordinates carefully)…

The final clue can be found at N50°58.9((A+C+D)*2) W001°23. E-599). The answer you need here, F, is the sum of the two numbers in the letter.

The cache can be found at N50°59.0(B/5) W001°23.((F*2)+80). It is close to a footpath frequented by dog walkers so stealth may be required.

Good luck!
