On the southbound side guardrail, a film cannister. There is ample room to pull over but the traffic here travels at 55 mph so be very careful!
This is where Rt.27 crosses Austin Bog. Austin Bog is a wetland that is part of the South end of Great Pond in the Belgrade Lakes region. I have driven past here many times, thinking I should stop and take a picture. Today I did and even though it was a dark dreary day; it was still as "Pretty As A Picture!" There are lots of birds and wildlife to be seen here!
