Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
To find the cache, you will need to record information from a total of four monuments near the intersection of Colorado and Orange Grove in Pasadena. Three are near the SW corner and one is near the NW corner. The posted coordinates will point you to some of the monuments.
To find the coordinates for the actual cache, you will need to find dates on the monuments (and other nearby locations) and decipher the formula:

A. What is the third digit of the year the Founders Plaque was dedicated?
B. What is the first digit of the 4-digit number inside the star on the Defenders Parkway monument?
C. In what month did Pasadena's founders first gather? Add 6 to this number to find C.
D. What is the second digit of the freeway you can enter from he Colorado/Orange Grove intersection? Double this number to find D.
E. On what day of the month was the Pasadena Pioneers Bridge plaque dedicated?
F. What is the last digit of the year the Lt Orrin Russell Fox Heliport was dedicated? Add 7 to this number to find F.
Parking is available on the north and south sides of Colorado Blvd just E of Orange Grove. You can also find parking on the culdesac at the N end of Grand Ave. While you're here, take a walk along the historic Colorado Blvd bridge, and if you haven't done so already, grab another nearby geocache - LarsThorwald's Vertigo (GC9C1F).
This cache is inspired by some nearby puzzle caches, particularly those placed by Journeymnn. Cache is log only micro, bring your own pen/cil. Have fun!
