Geocache Description:

A cache in Caledon Natural Area. Walk the scenic trails through old growth forest in this Virginia park. Caledon's principle role is a Bald Eagle preserve. At more than 2500 acres, Caledon protects a large tract of forest, and provides nearly eight miles of year round hiking trails, with additional trails open in the off-season. You are looking for a small container about 75 feet off of the Cedar Ridge Trail. Remember that trails tend to meander, so be careful of where you are... Please try to avoid creating/expanding a geo-trail as you approach the cache. GPS reception was a bit spotty when placing this cache, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Placed with permission. Parking is at the main lot by the visitor center. Park hours are 8:00 am to sunset, and there is a parking fee of $3.00 during the week and $4.00 weekends and holidays. Get all the park's caches while you are there. Stop and enjoy the visitor center if its open!
