Geocache Description:

This is another small container, so BYOP. It should be a Park and Grab.

The term Short Porch is used in baseball to describe an outfield fence that is not as far from home plate as might be the standard for that level of play. A Short Porch is more conducive to home runs by the hitters. An example of a Short Porch would be the left field fence at Minute Maid Park in Houston, right field in Yankee Stadium, or the Green Monster in Fenway Park in Boston.

This cache was hidden in anticipation of the Girls of Summer cache event on August 4th at the Prairie House. Nothing like some terminology from the Boys of Summer to give them something to look for.

CONGRATS TO THE GoS CREW AND THE 4ZEES FOR THE FTF GRAB. GLAD TO HAVE ALL OF YOU IN THE AREA!
