EZ Off Road Parking, on level terrain.
This area was among the last parts of Coffee Co., to be settled by early pioneers. Officially named "The Barrens", on TOPO maps, it gets it's name, from the generally poor quality of soils here, and very limited drainage. Years ago, you seldom saw anything here but scrub timber, and sedge grass. An early land surveyor of the late 1800s made a notation in his records, that "If a crow decided to fly over this area, he had better pack a lunch".
With the use of Chemical Fertilizer, and Lime finally coming into common usage, after the turn of the century, things slowly started to perk up and you now see more farmland.
Looking for a small cammoed container, with log only. Please re-hide as found.
