Curiously Strong - Creme de Menthe Traditional Cache
gbmcache: I visited the cache today and the container is missing. After 530 Finds with numerous replacemeents I think it is about time to archive this venerable cache.

A quick park and grab. As usual, watch out for muggles.
The Altoids tin is one of the most popular geocaching small containers, holding only a log and small items such as geocoins. Most are camouflaged and/or laden with magnates to provide for some fun and ingeniously placed caches.
Did you ever wonder what an unadorned Altoids tin looks like? If you are not into Altoids, as I am not, you probably did not know that they come in a variety of flavors. This cache represents one of them. I've eaten so many Altoids that I have decided that, after tasting a few, for this one I'll just dump the contents out in a ZipLock bag for future use.
One of the drawbacks of a container made of tin is that is rusts easily and quickly. I have sprayed this tin with a clear preservative to lengthen the life of the cache. If you notice any advanced deterioration of this Altoids tin please so note in your log.
Creme de Menthe is definitely a flavor to which I will not cotton. I see that there is a Chocolate covered Creme de Menthe that is coming out soon. Maybe that one will be better.
Congratulations to therapaint for the FTF August 6, 2008
Since the original Altoids container was rusting I switched it out for a container of a different sort.
