This cache is off a well established trail near the Greenwood creek Kayaker put-in (Yes Scoobert, you can hike to it!) It is also Raft friendly, we put it in during a great raft trip. The South Fork of the American river is a Dam controlled river. Raftable water is only usually released during the morning till the early afternoon. We have had to wait here for the flow to increase enough to run the class III rapids below.
This is a round nut container with dollar store geoswag.
