Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of caches in Prince Gallitzin State Park that are designed for families with small children. We placed these caches with our one year old son so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful state park. Remember that all state parks close at sunset, so no night caching. The FTF gets a one of a kind key ring!

Park at Beach #3 or at the group camping site if you are staying with a group. Take the Turkey Ridge Trail about .22 mile in for the cache. This trail can be hard to see at times because of grass that grows on the trail. The cache is only feet from the trail, but off the trail there may be thorny plants and poison ivy, so take care. This is a hunting area, so make sure you follow regulations during hunting seasons and wear orange. You can always ask at the Park Office if you aren't sure. The office is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
