Small cache, just off the trail.
We enjoyed hiking the trails and finding the caches in the South Mountain Preserve, and thought the area could use another cache. The 300 acre Preserve contains several miles of trails, many of which are old logging and mining roads. This cache is only 0.25 miles from the parking area. Other nearby caches include: Finding my Way… South Mountain, Must Be Nuts, A Woodland Retreat, and Environmentally Sensitive Area Cache. If you are in the mood for a 4 mile hike, you can make a loop and pick up all these caches.
