An easy cache -
this ammo box blends in with the scenery but is very "out of place"
(both both era and size) intentionally
for those who are ammo box buffs.

DON'T
BE MISTAKEN
FOR
A MUSEUM MUGGLER!
The ammo box has a
log, pen and is stuffed with plastic GI figures for the kids and
small American Flags for those who would like to take one.
Just respect the exhibits on the property so many others can enjoy
this cache. Placed with permission of the
facility.
This exceptional museum is filled with over 16,000 pieces of
memorabilia from various services and wars. The museum is a visual
reminder of the men and women who served in the armed forces.
I received a tour of the museum the day I placed the cache, and
what they have there is AWESOME!
If you would
like to visit inside, the museum is open on the 1st and 3rd Sunday
of each month as well as each Wednesday from 10 am—5
pm.
There will be a
huge outdoor exhibit here on Nov. 15th 2008 complete with cooking
on a field kitchen.
