Geocache Description:

A quick Cache and Dash near the quiet village of Crossmichael on the A713 Castle Douglas to Ayr Road

Crossmichael Church has a distinctive and rare round tower which houses a bell dating from 1611. In the churchyard there is a monument to the Covenanter William Graham who was shot by the troops of Claverhouse while trying to escape from his family home in 1682. Nearby is the much larger and more elaborate memorial to the Gordon family. Opposite the village shop you will find the village pump which was restored in 1994.

You are looking for a small blue topped container. It is not part of the 'Loch Ken Circular' multi-cache [More>>], consider this one a wee bonus along the way :-)
