[Swedish] De tre "gravhögarna" som finns på platsen sägs
tillhöra Kung Trydrik och hans hustru Åsgerd enligt platsens
skyltning. Skylten beskriver väl både kung Trydrik och de
utgrävningar som gjorts på platsen av en folklorist vid namn Arwid
Jonsson.
Då man forskar lite mer i ämnet visar det sig dock att
fornlämningen inte finns med på riksantikvarieämbetets fornsök. Det
är möjligt att skylten endast är en fornlämning från tidigare
studenter som bebott området. Rakt nedanför högarna, på andra sidan
cykelvägen, låg tidigare "Skåland"; ett före detta dagis som hyrdes
av Smålands- och Skånes nation. Där hölls många studentfester fram
till år 2003 då avloppet frös sönder och lokalen till sist fick
rivas.

[English] The three "tumuli" at the location contains
– according to the sign at the location – the remains
of king Trydrik and his wife Åsgerd. The sign describes both king
Trydrik and the excavations of the location, made by a folklorist
called Arwid Jonsson.
After a little more research in the matter, it shows that this
ancient remains is not in any official records over ancient
remains. It is possible that the sign is an ancient remain from
former students living in the neighborhood. "Skåland" used to be
located at the other side of the bicycle trail; a former kinder
garden which was rented by student organisations "Smålands nation"
and "Skånes nation". A lot of student parties where located there
until 2003 when the sewers frose and the shack had to be teared
down at last.
