This cache is located about 7 miles south of Flagstaff, AZ in the Coconino National Forest. This is a wonderful area for dry camping or a picnic in the shade under the Pine trees. I should have checked the area prior to hiding the cache, as it appears there are several others including the Wily Navigator cache, and the Green Weenie Cache nearby. I must return to find them!!!
Take I-17 south from Flagstaff and take the Kelly Canyon exit. Turn LEFT(east) across the highway bridge, and continue on the dirt road. Road is well-maintained and suitable for cars and RV’s, but drive slow and watch for Quads on the week-ends. At the fork, turn right onto NF700. Drive for about 2.5 miles and you are there. Walk about 150 feet to your right as you entered the road, and look for the rock cross(ing)
Cache is a green 2”X6” plastic creamer container. Inside you will find the following:
