Wise Old Cacher Traditional Cache

Park at the Elk Creek trail head of the Knobstone Trail. This is one of a number of fanciful container caches. The fanciful container is bread box sized and should provide a little surprise and fun to find. The cache is located just off the Knobstone Trail before mile marker 32. A short bushwhack and a steep climb are necessary to reach the cache.
When you reach the first stream crossing the KT, head south for the north coordinate. A hiking pole would help to climb the hill, but you won't need to 'four point it' and scramble to climb the incline. Once you're on the north coordinate, head back east. Signal was poor for me the day we placed the cache, but you being a wise old cacher will find this cache alright.
And thinking like a wise old cacher, don't just look down to find this cache. Once you find it, be a nice cacher too and put the container back the way you found it.
