Geocache Description:

Located just off of the Knobstone Trail west of the Elk Creek Lake trailhead. You'll have a level hike until the end. A hiking pole is recommended or you might have to 'four point it' to scramble up the hillside.

Hedge Hog Heaven is another fanciful container cache along this stretch of the KT. You'll have a pleasant hike in a level holler. After you pass mile marker 32 and just before the next stream, head south at 38* 38.822 N and 085*57.543 W. Leaving the trail sooner or after the stream will make for a truly impossible climb.

If you come to cache spring through summer, the Wood Thrush will delight you with flute-like bird song. Multiple thrushes duel morning and evening in this exquisite holler. Drink it in as you rest from your short but hard climb.
