Border Hill Traditional Cache

This cache is located at the top of the Midway Hiking Trails, near the Canada - USA Border. There is a wonderful
view from here of the Kettle River meandering through Canada and down into the United States. Be sure to bring your camera.

Parking

 To get to parking turn south off Highway 33 at Midway onto
Florence Street, crossing the bridge follow Florence Street as it turns right
(west), parking for trailhead is approximately 500 meters farther. Coordinates
for parking are  N49º 00.308 W118º 47.084

Trails

The hike up will take anywhere from 1½ to 2 hours depending on your skill as
a hiker.  The shortest route up is approx. 2.8km. For this you follow the
red trail turning onto the green trail at 750 meters; up the green trail to the
yellow trail; up yellow trail to the blue trail; continuing on blue trail to top
(once on the blue trail keep to the left). See photo of map.
